So how can i get this installed since i dont have a floppy and just what driver is it i need as well please to get windows to see my hard drives on that RAID pictures attached. You have four options: 1. Get a USB floppy drive (who uses Server 2003 now anyways!:-) ) 2. Get a regular floppy and attach it to the floppy controller onboard (assuming there is one) temporarily so you can get the driver installed. Use the Dell Server Assistant DVD that came with the system to pre-configure for installation - it should load the necessary drivers, if you're loading a supported server OS on the system. Slipstream the driver into a new CD and use that CD to install (use to get nLite and slipstream the driver). Warning -- not all BIOS / motherboards support USB floppy. I can't speak from experience on the 840, but don't assume answer is yes w/o checking into it (if you are going to go to a PC store). If, however a USB-attached CD works then a USB-floppy will. Hi I have installed a set of SATA disks in my computer, and want to install windows on these disks instead of on my current IDE drive. Atm I have windows up and running, and no problem in using the disks BUT. My computer have no disk-drive, and I don't know how to install windows on the new drives. Is it possible to do an install from a running version of windows instead of rebooting all the time??? Or can I edit a file, or copy the drivers to a spicific directory and then burn a new copy of the installation disc?? Best Regards Henrik A 5.
